Coffee filter holder – black

Filters at hand, not in a drawer
Paper coffee filters usually end up in an open pack in a drawer: they crease and pick up moisture and smells. This holder solves that with one form: an oak base and a triangular frame keep the stack upright right next to the machine. In the morning you pull out one filter in one move and the rest stays neatly stacked.
The holder is made for cone-shaped size 4 paper filters (1×4, #4), used in filter coffee makers and drippers – like those in the photos. It holds about 50 filters, so a typical pack in full.
Dimensions
The holder measures 20 cm wide, 10.5 cm high and 5.5 cm deep. It takes up about as much counter space as a mug, so it fits next to the machine, a dripper or a grinder. Size 4 filters rise above the frame so they are easy to grab.
Black oak in the coffee corner
The black version is the same solid oak and the same construction as the natural one. The difference is the finish: the wood is sanded, stained black and finally oiled by hand. The stain soaks into the oak and does not hide its structure – up close you can see the grain, and the surface is matt, not lacquered. It looks good next to black and stainless coffee makers, dark counters and metal barista tools, and the light filter paper contrasts with the dark frame.

Care instructions
Clean the black version exactly like natural oak: a dry or slightly damp soft cloth, no scrubbing and no harsh cleaners. Wipe up spills straight away. The black stain is sealed with oil, so for occasional refreshing use only clear wood oil – tinted products may change the shade. Dust shows more on a dark surface, so you will notice sooner when it is time for a wipe.

Which filters fit the holder?
Cone-shaped size 4 paper filters (1×4, #4) – the standard in filter coffee makers such as the Moccamaster and in many drippers. Size 2 filters also fit, but rise less above the frame.
How many filters fit at once?
About 50, so a typical pack in full. The filters stand upright between the frame and the base, so you take them one at a time and the stack does not fall apart.
What are the dimensions?
20 cm wide, 10.5 cm high and 5.5 cm deep – about as much counter space as a mug.
Does it match the Moccamaster base?
Yes, it is the same holder form. The Moccamaster base has it built in; the separate holder is useful if you want filters elsewhere or use a dripper.
Does it need assembly?
No. The holder arrives in one piece, ready to use.
How does the black version differ from the natural one?
The wood is stained black and only then oiled, so the colour soaks into the surface instead of sitting on top like lacquer. The oak grain stays visible, and small scuffs do not expose light wood as easily as they would on a painted finish.
Does every piece look the same?
The shape and dimensions are repeatable. The black stain does not hide the wood structure, so the grain – different in every board – shows through the colour. Your piece may differ slightly from the photos.
How do I clean it?
Collect dust and paper fibres with a dry cloth, wipe coffee marks with a slightly damp cloth and dry. Do not wash under water or in a dishwasher. Details: oak care guide.
