Machine and filters in one place
The base does two jobs: it is a platform for a Moccamaster coffee maker and at the same time a stand for paper filters. The triangular holder is part of the base – filters stand right next to the machine, exactly where brewing starts. No separate container, and the coffee corner looks coherent.

Dimensions, holder and filters
The base is 42 cm wide and 21 cm deep; the total height including the filter holder is 11.5 cm, while the platform itself is low so the machine does not stand higher than necessary. The edges are chamfered at 45° and four feet lift the platform slightly above the counter.
The holder takes cone-shaped size 4 paper filters (1×4, #4), the ones used in Moccamaster filter machines – it holds about 50, so a whole pack. Before buying, measure the footprint of your machine and compare it with 42 × 21 cm; individual Moccamaster models differ in outline. If your machine has a different footprint, write to us and we will make a version for your model.
Black oak and food-safe oil
The black version is the same solid oak and the same construction as the natural one. The difference is the finish: the wood is sanded, stained black and finally oiled by hand. The stain soaks into the oak and does not hide its structure – up close you can see the grain, and the surface is matt, not lacquered. Finally the surface is protected with a natural food-safe oil. The black base looks good under black, stainless and coloured Moccamaster machines.
The oil does not make the wood waterproof – wipe up spilled coffee or water straight away. Every piece is made in our nozi workshop from a single, individually selected board of solid oak. Safe placement
Place the base with the machine on a stable, dry counter. The power cord must not be pinched under the platform, and access to the water tank, filter basket and carafe must remain free. The base tidies the coffee corner but does not replace the safety rules given by the machine manufacturer.

Care instructions
Collect crumbs and dust with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe coffee or water marks straight away with a slightly damp cloth and dry the surface. Do not wash the base under running water, do not put it in a dishwasher and do not use degreasers or abrasive sponges.
Every few months, when the wood looks dry, apply a thin coat of clear natural food-safe wood oil and let it soak in fully before putting the machine back. Full guide: how to care for natural oak products.

Does the base fit every Moccamaster model?
It is designed for Moccamaster filter coffee makers, but individual models have different footprints. Measure your machine and compare it with the 42 × 21 cm platform. If you need another size, write to us.
What are the dimensions?
42 cm wide, 21 cm deep and 11.5 cm high including the filter holder. Four feet lift the platform slightly above the counter.
Which filters does the holder take, and how many?
Cone-shaped size 4 paper filters (1×4, #4) – the kind a Moccamaster uses. The holder takes about 50 filters, so a typical pack in full.
Is the filter holder part of the base?
Yes. The triangular holder is integrated into the platform, so the filters need no separate container.
How is the wood protected?
The wood is stained black and then oiled with a natural food-safe oil. It protects the wood from everyday moisture but does not make it waterproof – wipe up spills straight away.
Is the coffee maker included?
No. You are buying the oak base with the filter holder. The machine, filters and cups in the photos only show scale and use.
How does the black version differ from the natural one?
The wood is stained black and only then oiled, so the colour soaks into the surface instead of sitting on top like lacquer. The oak grain stays visible, and small scuffs do not expose light wood as easily as they would on a painted finish.
Does every piece look the same?
The shape and dimensions are repeatable. The black stain does not hide the wood structure, so the grain – different in every board – shows through the colour. Your piece may differ slightly from the photos.
How do I clean the base?
Collect crumbs and dust with a soft cloth, wipe coffee marks with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not wash under running water or in a dishwasher. Refresh the surface with wood oil every few months – care guide.
How long does shipping take?
