What organizer M is for
Organizer M is the larger of the two NOZI organizers. Four parallel grooves milled into a solid board hold pens, pencils, a fountain pen and a stylus, and a slot carved along the board works as a stand for notes: a to-do card, a sticky note, a photo, a postcard or a business card – up to A5 size. The photos show it with a to-do list and a photograph standing upright.
Tools and the things you want to look at during the day get one permanent place instead of circulating between the keyboard, the monitor and a pile of documents. The desk does not have to be empty to look tidy.
Dimensions and layout
The organizer measures 20 cm wide, 9 cm deep and 1.5 cm high. The four grooves fit standard pens, pencils, fineliners and tablet styluses; a card or photo up to A5 (14.8 × 21 cm) stands securely in the slot. The low profile does not block the monitor or keyboard.
If space is tight or you keep only two tools on the desk, the narrower desk organizer S (20 × 4.5 cm, two grooves) is enough.
Black oak instead of plastic
Oak is hard and heavy for a wood, so the organizer does not slide when you put a pen down and does not scratch as easily as plastic or lacquered board. The black version is the same solid oak and the same construction as the natural one. The difference is the finish: the wood is sanded, stained black and finally oiled by hand. The stain soaks into the oak and does not hide its structure – up close you can see the grain, and the surface is matt, not lacquered.

Care instructions
Clean the black version exactly like natural oak: a dry or slightly damp soft cloth, no scrubbing and no harsh cleaners. Wipe up spills straight away. The black stain is sealed with oil, so for occasional refreshing use only clear wood oil – tinted products may change the shade. Dust shows more on a dark surface, so you will notice sooner when it is time for a wipe.

What does organizer M hold?

Does a card or photo stand securely?
Yes. The slot is deep enough for an A5 card, a sticky note or a 10 × 15 cm photo to stand upright without toppling in a draught. The photos show a to-do list and a photograph.
What is the difference between organizer M and S?
Organizer M is 20 × 9 cm with four grooves and an A5 slot; organizer S is 20 × 4.5 cm with two grooves. Choose M if you also want notes or a photo on your desk.
How does the black version differ from the natural one?
The wood is stained black and only then oiled, so the colour soaks into the surface instead of sitting on top like lacquer. The oak grain stays visible, and small scuffs do not expose light wood as easily as they would on a painted finish.
Does it slide on the desk?
Solid oak is heavy for such a small object, so the organizer stays put when you take and return pens. On a slippery glass top, simply avoid shoving it around.
Does every piece look the same?
The shape and dimensions are repeatable. The black stain does not hide the wood structure, so the grain – different in every board – shows through the colour. Your piece may differ slightly from the photos.
How do I care for it?
Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth and refresh the surface with natural wood oil every few months. Details are in our oak care guide.
